Frequently asked questions
What is a print on canvas?
We make high quality photos of my original paintings and print those photos on huge printers, designed to make very detailed prints. Prints on canvas are printed on archival grade, acid-free canvas which features a fine canvas weave. These canvases are designed to meet gallery and museum longevity requirements. It is 380 g Premium quality canvas.
Are the colors I see on the screen true to print?
We did our best to represent colors accurately, but they still may vary due to differences in monitor/printer calibrations, inks, etc. If you are concerned about colors, we can send you a small swatch of the print. We will charge you $10 for a fragment of the print, refundable with your purchase.
Are prints on canvas ready to hang?
There are two types of prints on canvas that we offer:
1. Unstretched print requires stretching, which can be done by you or in a local frame shop. Please, click here to download my ebook: How to stretch a painting or a print. All unstretched prints have 2 inches white border for stretching.
2. Stretched prints are stretched on 1.5 inches deep stretchers with gallery wrap (no staples on the sides), have a hanging wire attached and absolutely READY TO HANG.
We also offer prints on paper, that require framing at local frame shop.
How thick are the frames you are offering?
The floating frames of white and black colors are 2" thick. They are made of wood and are the best frames we found locally. They look sharp!
Sorry, they are sold out!
